Most Samsung products have a 1 year free warranty. This means that if a product breaks within a year of purchasing it Samsung will replace or fix it for no additional cost. The warranty does not, however, cover damage done by the user. For example, if you drop your phone, this is not covered. They will only replace or fix a phone for free if the phone experiences a defect caused by Samsung.

Also, it should be noted that if Samsung does replace something on your device this then is only covered for 90 days thereafter. So if Samsung replaces a broken screen, and you experience the same problem 4 months later, unfortunately they will claim that your 90 repair warranty is up.
